Located in a rural area (well...as rural as it can be) in Northern Virginia near the foot of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Blooming Hill is not exactly
blooming today. However, it is awash in drifts of snow and crystal ice droplets. The winding driveway is covered in snow that has only been disturbed by bootprints and sled tracks. Trees, bushes and plants are swathed in cotton batting. No matter the weater, Blooming Hill is a beautiful place. It is my home.
